The Man in the Big Red Suit

This time of year has been a lot of fun around our house. I met this man they call Santa Clause and my parents keep telling me the story of Christmas and all the plans to be made. Today we are going to buy a tree and Daddy pulled down all the decorations for the house. It's going to be a long day but very exciting.

Ethan's Birthday!

My big brother, Ethan turned 14 today!! We went out to dinner at a Japanese restraunt where they threw food and fire around.

Great Paw Paw Leicht

"Major Road Trip" Reason No. 1: Meet the Great Grandparents. In addition to meeting Great Grandma Hitchcock I also got to spend the day with Great Paw Paw Leicht. We watched the Cowboy game and ate Turkey with all the Holiday fixings. He promises to take hugs and kisses to Great Granny Leicht since she had a sinus infection/possible cold that she did not want to give me. She stayed home to recover but hopefully I'll meet her next time I'm in town.

Great Grandma Hitchcock

Reason for "Major Road Trip" Number 1: Meeting the Great Grandparents. Here I am hanging out with Great Grandma Hitchcock. We ate, we played, we talked and overall just watched everyone else at times. It was a very special treat getting to spend so much time together.

TEXAS ROAD TRIP

40 hours of driving and 7 states (twice) later this family is recovering from one major road trip. I met lots and lots of family members and smiled and smiled to my hearts content. Thank you, thank you for all the love, hugs and kisses and toys too. Here are just a few of my shining moments!!

Happy 6 months old!!

Today I am 6 months old! Daddy has employed me as an assistant household stocker. I'm not sure if I can eat any of these things yet but everyone else seems to enjoy them.

The Pumpkin Patch

We visited the pumpkin patch last weekend and these are the pumpkins I chose for the front window. We got big huge ones for the front porch and true to tradition they are the ugliest pumpkins we could find. We are waiting for the opportunity to take pics with Ethan but due to back to back soccer practices and/or games almost every night, he doesn't ever make it home before dark.

Big Fall Weekend

The weather has turned chilly here in Greensboro, finally! Here we are at the Fall Festival as Popeye, Sweet Pea and Olive Oyle. We had a trunk or treat and passed out salt water taffy! Ethan had a soccer game so he couldn't come with us but for Halloween we'll dress up with him. He says he is going to be a gangsta, but mommy says we'll see. I'll have to let you know.

Dinner Time!

So, here I am eating dinner with Daddy. Tonight we had all of my favorites: cereal, carrots and butternut squash. My mommy likes to make my food for me after we go shopping at the Farmers Market and I taste test everything by licking it first. I love vegetables but daddy and I agreed that he'd eat all the yucky applesauce for me.

Right now my two puppies are still unsure of me and don't get too close. But me and my kitty are tight. We hang out and he lets me pull all his hair. He is twice as big as me but he lets me think I'm the master of our play time.

I got my new kicks from my cool Aunt Cyndi. By the way, they taste good too.

Road Trip!

Last weekend we took a road trip to one of my big brother's soccer games. He played great in the goal as I watched from a very near by covered patio. It was very hot! So hot that my brother threw up all the way home. That was fun to watch too!
